According to new research, relaxation training can help you slim down when you include it in a comprehensive weight loss program.

Chill Out to Slim Down, Says Study

A new study published in Complimentary Therapies in Medicine revealed that when overweight and obese participants took part in a program that included mind-body training for relaxation they showed improvement in weight, BMI (body mass index) and body circumference measurements. The study was small in scope, but taking part in relaxation classes like yoga or tai chi carries no harmful side effects and it may offer a helpful alternative for people who are struggling with the weight loss process.
